I just wanna smack the guy! Which is exactly what C&L intend in this start. You wanna read Beautiful Bastard for a much better dominance fight with true heat. So many thought the Fifty Shades series was good. I received a story ARC from the publisher. In 2013, Beautiful Bastard was nominated for a Goodreads Choice for Romance. I wish I would have found this book during my first big breakup in my 20s I would have saved more time and money if I had this book then. Some of the advise you most likely have heard before, but it's good advise. ![]() This book gives some gems of advise from am array of topics. The reader did give a disclaimer about how dated the ideas on topics like homosexuality or references but I just skipped over those sections or just updated the reference in my mind. When watching The Princess Diaries series, this reviewer could not help but draw comparisons between the characters of Mia and Clarisse and other historical queens.
